REASONS TO GIVE
Your contribution ensures that Missouri students at risk of not pursuing a postsecondary education have access to individualized college and career readiness advising and support.
Many of the students served by MCAC are from low-income backgrounds and will be the first in their families to pursue a degree or credential. Having a dedicated adviser to provide information for and assistance with identifying their “best fit” postsecondary option increases the likelihood of them attaining a postsecondary education.
Your contribution helps sustain the program and expand our impact across the state.
MCAC provides postsecondary advisement to an average 43,000 students (grades 9-12) each year with an emphasis on 10,000 seniors preparing for their next step after high school graduation. The generous support of our donors helps sustain the program over multiple years as well as expand services into additional high-need schools in urban and rural communities across the state.
Your contribution supports the ongoing personal and professional development of our advisers.
Many of our advisers are from similar backgrounds as the students they serve. On average, 50% of our advisers were also from low-income households and the first in their families to earn a college degree. MCAC is committed to providing opportunities that foster advisers’ employability and leadership skills as well as their lifelong ethic of service.

Leveraging Gifts
